A quick update to allow people time to
plan. Once we have everything confirmed, a note containing all information will
come home on the first day of term 3. This note will include a slip to
complete, for parents who wish to accompany us on this trip, which will need to
be returned to school mid week 1. This will allow time for police vetting to be
undertaken. Our BOT require all parents attending overnight camps to undergo
this process, as part of their approval of the camp. This approval has already
been gained from our BOT. We will require 10 parents. This year we also require a Dad who is prepared to speak for us at the marae.
There will be a parent meeting in week 2
for all parents, where the confirmed programme will be presented, along with
more finalised costings.
