From Mrs Beilby

A wee note to thank you all for your support and understanding over the course of this year. As a school community a stunning afternoon tea was provided for Alan's funeral to which many of you would have contributed - fabulous was the only word to describe it and the friendly servers/kitchen hands received many compliments.  Thank you all so much.

I will return to the class after Labour Weekend, and I'm sure I will have sorted most of the bits and pieces at home so that my focus will be once again on your children. It is wonderful that Mrs Lyon has been so available for the class this year and she is just an amazing teacher - very grateful that this has been the case.

I will be looking forward to seeing everyone at Pet Day, the morning of Friday 23rd October - will need to bath and groom my wee man, Chiefy.  He has grown somewhat since last being at school.  He is of show dog stock, but is a farm dog unfortunately, so hardly looks as flash as some of his brothers and sisters who have begun doing the shows around New Zealand.  Roll on the St Gerards Pet Day for his big moment.

Enjoy the start of a very busy term.

Chris
