We began today learning about using WOW words to describe thunder and lightning. We worked for a very short time with a buddy and haven't had time for everyone to share yet. I was so excited when I read this written by Zack and Ted and thought it worth sharing.
"There is lightning. It looks like a flashing crack in the sky."
Our poem this week is about a description of Tawhiri the son of Rangi and Papa who was not happy when his parents were separated. We talked about the language in the poem before we wrote.
